About Plasmotix

Plasmotix is a UK-based climate-tech startup developing smart plasma technology for industrial wastewater treatment.

We help industrial sites move beyond systems that only capture contaminants by working toward on-site destruction of persistent pollutants such as PFAS, while improving compliance visibility and reducing secondary waste burden.

What We Do and Why

Our mission is to help industries treat wastewater in a cleaner, smarter, and more responsible way — reducing dependence on capture-only filtration, off-site disposal, and treatment methods that simply move the problem elsewhere.

Industrial wastewater contamination is a growing cost, compliance, and sustainability challenge. Most existing systems trap harmful contaminants in filters, resins, or sludge, leaving companies with secondary toxic waste that still needs to be handled and disposed of. We started Plasmotix to build a better solution.

We are developing a modular non-thermal plasma treatment system that integrates with existing industrial infrastructure, combining plasma hardware with IoT sensors and smart monitoring to give operators a practical way to destroy pollutants at the source, improve compliance visibility, and prepare for stricter environmental standards.

Where We Are Now

Plasmotix is currently in its early formation stage. The founding team is in place, the technology direction is defined, and we are actively taking the first steps to establish the company as a physical operation.

We are in the process of securing our first office space — a dedicated environment where the team can begin hands-on prototype development and accelerate progress on our plasma treatment system.

Alongside this, we are actively engaging with investors to secure the funding needed to move from early-stage development into a fully resourced prototype and validation phase. If you are interested in being part of that journey, we would like to hear from you.
